We had two guest speakers on May 13: executive director of Economic Opportunity Institute Rian Watt and co-founder of the Seattle Good Business Network and former executive director of YES! Media Christine Hanna. Christine and Rian responded to tough questions about our economy and wealth distribution. Would our economy fail without billionaires, or even millionaires? How should Washington’s tax system work? How could we fund social services if not with taxes?
