Our Services

The People’s Economy Lab is a unique community-based network that both initiates projects in response to community demands and provides services to government agencies, community and nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders that are values-aligned and in line with our mission and vision. In identifying projects, we seek to support the development of new economic systems that center and empower Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. We seek to push the boundaries of what’s possible for a Just Transition to local, community-centered economies that are equitable, democratic, and regenerative.

Our role often includes convening community leaders, workshoping transformative ideas, and developing new economic models. We look for projects that shift money, resources, and power to BIPOC communities.
