The People’s Economy Lab works to advance the transition to a restorative economy in Washington State by supporting the development of new economic systems that center and empower Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
We push the boundaries of what’s possible for a Just Transition to local, community-centered economies that are equitable, democratic, and regenerative. We convene community leaders, workshop transformative ideas, and build better economic models. We give life to system change strategies that shift money, resources, and power to BIPOC communities.
