Building a Solidarity Economy in Washington State

People’s Economy Lab works to advance a Just Transition to a solidarity economy in Washington by supporting the development of equitable economic systems that center and empower Black, Indigenous, and communities of color. 

We push the boundaries of what’s possible for a Just Transition to democratic and regenerative community-centered economies. We convene community leaders, identify and workshop transformative ideas, and make the case for better economic models. We give life to systems change strategies that shift money, resources, and power to BIPOC communities.
